Arizona (USA) – Former Police officer Derek Chauvin was fatally attacked by an inmate at the Tucson Jail. Inmate John Turskan (Age 52) stabbed Chauvin 22 times. Although the Ex-Policeman was seriously injured, he managed to escape. Inmate John Turskan has been sentenced to 30 years in prison in one case.
Derek Chauvin killed a African-American man, George Floyd, in 2020. He is serving the sentence after being found guilty. Floyd’s killing had sparked massive protests across the US and the violence against African-Americans had come to light.
