Black magic performed in a Karnataka University professor’s room without his knowledge

A voodoo doll and a lemon were found

Dharwad (Karnataka) – A black Voodoo doll, 3 lemons, turmeric and kumkum were found in the room of Karnataka University, History Assistant Professor Rama Gundurao. Prof. Ram Gundurao had gone on vacation for a few days. Hence, his room was closed during that time. However, when he came back he was shocked when found the above-mentioned items in his room. Since he has the keys to the room it is assumed that the items were thrown inside the room through the windows. It is rumoured that a personal dispute may be the reason behind this incident. Prof. Gundurao’s Son-in-law works in the same department in the university and there seems to be a dispute between the two over the room. The employees suspect that this incident may be due to this dispute.

Editorial Perspective

Universities or educational institutions consider themselves to be ‘progressive’ or ‘homes of modern thought’. Hence, such an incident in the room of a professor is shameful for the entire progressive community.
