A turbulent world should take inspiration from Hindu values to establish peace

Bangkok (Thailand) – The Prime Minister of Thailand, Srettha Thavisin sent a message for the third World Hindu Congress, ‘In a world struggling with turmoil, we should take an inspiration from the Hindu values of non-violence, truth, tolerance and harmony, only then peace will be established in the world’. This message was read out in the inaugural session. Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin himself was to attend the conference; but due to some unavoidable circumstances, he could not attend.

In this message, Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin further said, ‘It is a matter of honour for our country to host the World Hindu Congress on the principles and values of Hinduism. Regardless of the geographical distance between Thailand and India, the Hindu values of truth and tolerance have always been respected. This grand conference has been started with the aim of establishing the identity of Hindus as ‘a progressive and talented society’ in the world.
