Port Louis (Mauritius) – India has almost completed the process of setting up a military base on Agaléga Island in Mauritius. This island is about 1,100 km away from the main island and is an archipelago of two islands. India will be able to keep an eye on the Chinese Navy’s actions in the Indian Ocean region through this military base. This will also lead to the strengthening of India’s territorial position.
