Pakistan blames pollution in Lahore on India

The International Gas Inspection Board rejects Pakistan’s claims

Islamabad (Pakistan) – Pakistan blamed increased pollution in Lahore due to the burning of agricultural weeds in India’s Punjab. However, its baseless claims are ignored at the international level, hence, Pakistan is unable to do anything except sit.

In the Indian States – Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh, the burning of farm weeds before Diwali leads to a huge increase in pollution every year, including New Delhi.

This year, pollution has also increased in Pakistan’s Lahore. For this, an attempt is made to blame India. In a meeting of the Cabinet Ministers of Pakistan, it is said that pollution has increased in Lahore due to the burning of weeds in India’s Punjab. They also discussed presenting this at the international level.

In fact, the International Air Monitoring Board has said that there is no connection between the burning of weeds in India and the pollution in Lahore. Pollution is caused by local problems. The board has clarified that it has nothing to do with this as there is no airflow from Punjab towards Lahore.

Editorial Perspective

It would not be a surprise if tomorrow Pakistan holds India responsible for its current bankruptcy.
