H.H. Sarsanghchalak (Dr) Mohanji Bhagawat at a Vijayadashmi event alleges involvement of extremist elements from across the border in Manipur violence
Nagpur – Violence is being orchestrated in Manipur. Meitei and Kuki communities have been living together peacefully for many years. How did the violence erupt all of a sudden? Was there involvement of extremists from across the border, asked H.H. Sarsanghchalak (Dr) Mohanji Bhagawat in the annual Vijayadashmi rally held here. Noted singer and composer Shankar Mahadevan was present as the chief guest on the occasion.
H.H. Sarsanghchalak (Dr) Mohanji Bhagawat said further –
1. Political parties are, for their selfish interests, conniving with anti-national forces to defeat their opponents but doing such things is imprudence.
2. On the 22nd of January 2024, Ram-Mandir will be inaugurated in Ayodhya. It is not possible for everyone to go and attend the programme; therefore, every Indian should organise programmes in the local temples.
3. A few destructive forces call themselves ‘Cultured Marxists’. They oppose wherever there is good governance, auspicious activities, ‘sanskara’, and self-restraint. They want the whole of mankind to be under the influence of a handful of people; therefore, they are sponsoring and even spreading anarchy.
Shankar Mahadevan started his speech by reciting ‘Saraswati Shloka’. He commended the contribution of RSS towards the preservation of the ideology of ‘Akhand Bharat’, its culture, and traditions. He also urged people to contribute to nation-building through remarkable work in their respective fields. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis were also present on the occasion.
