What is Nomophobia ?
|
It shows the influence of science and technology on humans in today’s world. It is the outcome of extreme faith in science without a spiritual base ! – Editor
The addiction due to excessive use of mobile phones or fear or stress caused by no access to a working mobile phone is known as Nomophobia (No Mobile Phone Phobia). Whether it is a mental ailment or not is yet to be proven but the addiction to mobile phones can affect a person’s mental health. It slowly adversely affects even his relations with others. As per one report, three out of four people in India are more or less, affected by Nomophobia. Some of them have admitted that they face mental problems in the absence of the internet or any fault with their mobile phones or if the phone is not charged, etc.
Editorial Perspective
Today’s young generation, known as ‘Gen Z’, is very fickle-minded and hasty. Due to the lack of education on Dharma and lack of spiritual practice, this generation is morally declining. The above incident is one of its extreme examples. |
