Mysuru (Karnataka) – The ‘Mahisha Dussehra Planning Committee’ was permitted to hold programmes only inside the community building and not to hold public programmes. Derogatory criticism was made about Hinduism in this programme called ‘Mahisha Utsav’. Prof. K S Bhagawan was at the forefront of this derogatory criticism. ‘Shudra in Hinduism means the son of a prostitute’, Prof. Bhagawan said in a hateful statement.

Prof. Bhagawan further said –

1. Brahmins think that ‘God created Shudras to serve Brahmins’. It is being said that ‘all Shudras are slaves of Brahmins’. We do not want such a religion. (How many more years will people like Prof. Bhagawan continue to hate the same class of people ? – Editor)

2. Gautam Buddha raised a question on the worship of fire. He had said that ‘worshipping fire is of no use’. So, the kings and emperors stopped worshipping the fire. This is why Brahmins get angry even at a glimpse of Buddha. Even today, they are carrying the same hatred forward. Brahmins, when performing the Homa (sacrificial fire), add the parts of the banyan tree to the fire, because Buddha attained enlightenment under a banyan tree. (Why has no one given Bhagawan a prize for such a ‘discovery’ yet ? – Editor)

3. The sects of Brahmins are meaningless. They have no meaning. Buddha imparted knowledge. Vedic people are giving ignorance to society. (Society is well aware of who is giving ignorance ! – Editor)

4. Caste is identified by the sacred thread. Hinduism is not our Dharma. Brahmins and Vedics came from different countries. (Even though this has not been proven anywhere, people like Prof. Bhagawan have been spreading this falsehood for many years ! – Editor)

5. Why didn’t God stop Covid-19 ? Why doesn’t God stop the thefts taking place in the temples ? Has God Himself become a thief ?

6. Everyone talks about Ramrajya (the rule of Shriram). It is said that it existed for 11,000 years. In fact, it lasted only for 11 years. Shriram abandoned the pregnant Sita in the forest. He did not ask what happened to her. During the Ashwamedh Yajna, he learnt about his wife and children. What kind of Shriram is He, who had not even bothered about his wife and children for 15 years ? Ramrajya means the kingdom that kills Shudras ! (All information related to Shriram and Mother Sita has been clarified time and time again. It is also mentioned in Ramayan. Devout Hindus should compel the Police to take action against Prof. Bhagawan for deliberately spreading hatred toward Shriram by raising such questions for hurting religious sentiments even after information regarding this is present in the public domain ! – Editor)

• It is impossible to imagine what kind of education such professors must have given to students ! A teacher instills morals in students; however, there are also such professors who are spreading hatred in society !
