New Delhi – In the encounter in Anantnag in Kashmir, 5 Indian Army officers and soldiers have been killed. In response to this incident, General (Retd.) VK Singh, Union Minister of State and former Chief of the Army Staff said, ‘Pakistan needs to be isolated. Sometimes cricketers will come ahead, sometimes film producers will come ahead, but Pakistan needs to be isolated.’ He criticised all those who support playing cricket with Pakistan and employing Pakistani artistes in Indian films.

General (Retd.) VK Singh further said that as long as we do not isolate Pakistan, that country would continue to feel that launching terrorist attacks is a normal thing. Pakistan needs to know that no normal relations can be maintained with it until it acts normal.
