Jihadi terrorist of PFI, Usman Sultan Khan, arrested from a mosque in Bihar

Security agencies were on lookout for Khan since many years who trained youths in terrorism

Patna (Bihar) – The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested Usman Sultan Khan alias Yakub, a jihadi terrorist of banned terrorist organisation ‘PFI’ from Bansghat of Chakia village in East Champaran District of the State. He was arrested from a mosque in Gawandara village here. He is a native of Imadpatti village. Bihar Police and Patna Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) had been searching for him for several years.

1. Khan was training youth for terrorist activities. He was also called as ‘master trainer’. He had created a huge network of militant youths in North Bihar and Indo-Nepal border areas.

2. A few days ago, a video of him had also surfaced on social media, in which he was seen training terrorists at Gandhi Maidan in Chakia village. This training continued for several days, but it is being said that Bihar Police did not take any action. (If this is true, the concerned Police officers who committed such a grave mistake should be imprisoned for life ! – Editor)

3. Further raids are also being carried out basis investigation done after Khan’s arrest.

4. A total of 6 terrorists including Usman Sultan Khan have been arrested in the last few days. Among them are Mohammad Riyaz alias Bablu, Irshad Alam, Mumtaz Ansari, Mohammad Afroz and Mohammad Najre Alam alias Bechu.
