Noida / Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh) – Seema Haider, a woman who managed to enter India from Pakistan, and her lover Sachin Meena from Noida were interrogated by the Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) of Uttar Pradesh (UP) on 17th July 2023 at its office for 8 hours. Seema Haider’s brother and uncle are serving in Pakistan’s army. The inquiry was conducted even on the following day. ATS inquired into their background and tried to obtain information on individuals helping her to travel to Dubai for coming to Delhi via Nepal. They also asked about her four mobile phones. Mumbai Police have received a threat to send Seema back to Pakistan or else, face a similar attack like 26/11. The security of the house where she has been put up is beefed up.
Intelligence Department has asked for information from Border Security Force (BSF) on Seema’s entry into India. Seema came to India from Nepal by crossing the Sitamarhi District of Bihar. This border is guarded by BSF. Information has been sought about Seema Haider and her 4 children crossing the Indian border despite holding a Nepalese Visa, where as the mistake made, or was it a mistake or a case of bribery, etc. A squad of the Intelligence Department will go to Nepal since it is suspected that Seema was helped by a very influential person to cross the Nepal border for entering India.
Seema Haider and Sachin can be arrested if she was found to be a Pakistani spy; otherwise, she can be sent back to Pakistan. She may seek shelter in India for getting threatened with life in Pakistan and in such a case, Indian Government will have to take a decision.
