The US recognised Arunachal Pradesh as India’s integral part

Washington (US) – The resolution of the Parliamentary Committee states that Arunachal Pradesh is an integral part of India. Within a month of PM Narendra Modi’s visit to the US, the Parliamentary board passed this resolution. It is said that the US accepts Arunachal Pradesh as India’s integral part. The said resolution was tabled by Jeffrey Merkle, Bill Hegarty, Tim Ken and Swiss Van.

China attacks the Indian boundary persistently. Recently China had taken some part of Arunachal Pradesh into custody. The US has taken India’s side in this regard. The resolution also states the McMahon line to be the international boundary between India and China. Senator Cornin opined that the US should support the democracy strongly when tension at the boundary between India and China is on the rise.

Editorial perspective

China is the greatest enemy of the US. Recently India is implementing the policy of attacking China. Hence, the US, which always finds fault with India tries to attract India’s attention towards it by passing such remarks.
