In this case, Chief Justice DY Chandrachud has also issued a notice to the Delhi Police for not registering a FIR against the president of the ‘Indian Wrestling Federation’ and BJP MP Brijbhushan Sharan Singh. (One can only imagine about what the Police, who don’t even register the complaints of internationally renowned wrestlers, must be doing with the complaints of ordinary women ! – Editor) The Supreme Court has asked the names of 7 women wrestlers to be removed from the Court documents to prevent the names of the complainant women wrestlers from being disclosed.
