4 soldiers killed

Bathinda (Punjab) – Four soldiers were killed on 12th April after a firing took place in their camp. A soldier, Mohan Desai, has been arrested by the Police regarding this incident. But he mislead the Police regarding this case and managed to become a prime witness. The Police investigation later revealed that he was the one who had killed his fellow soldiers. The Police said that the motive for this murder was personal animosity.

According to the Bathinda Police, Desai claimed during interrogation that the four soldiers would regularly insult and physically torture him. Annoyed by this, he carried out the deed as an act of vengeance.
