Temple vandalised by fanatical Muslims in Indore (MP)

Threatened to kill women who came to perform puja
Restoration in progress under Police protection !

Indore (MP) – Hindus were beaten and the temple vandalised by fanatical Muslims at Sheetla Mata temple in Chandan Nagar here. They also threatened to kill.

The restoration of this temple is in progress. While 2 labourers were working here, some women came there to do puja. At that time Rashid, Imran and Firoz came there. They prevented workers from working and assaulted them. They also misbehaved with the women who came to do the puja. They demanded women to get rid of the temple and threatened to kill if not done so. Then they vandalised the temple.

On getting information about this incident, activists of Hindutva organisations gathered there and later went to the Police station and demanded action. After this, large Police force was deployed near the temple. The restoration work is in progress under Police protection. The accused are also being searched.

Protest warning if no action taken against the accused

Hindu activists have said that in the past there have been incidents of meat being thrown in the temple premises. Now vandalism has also started. If the Police do not take action against the accused, there will be a big protest here. (Why such a warning needs to be given ? Why the Police do not take action on their own ? – Editor)
