Kathmandu (Nepal) – “To know the science of Shivaratra and to merge with Deity Shiva, we have to perform spiritual practice and go from the Tama component to the Raja component to the Sattva component and finally beyond all these components so as to reach the ultimate Truth”, said Sadguru (Dr) Charudatta Pingale (National Guide of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti) while addressing a function organised by ‘Shiva Sena Nepal’ on the occasion of Mahashivaratra. To a question that the present generation is not interested in ritualistic worship, He said that the next step in ritualistic worship is spiritual worship such as mental worship, chanting, through which one can reach God.
