Iqbal, the Principal of a Government school in Singhbhum, Jharkhand, arrested

Singhbhum (Jharkhand) – An outrageous incident has come to light in which Shafaq Iqbal, a Principal of a Government school in Ghatshila, used the national flag as a duster. When the villagers learned about this, they surrounded the school. On receiving this information, the Police reached the spot and arrested Principal Iqbal. The villagers, as well as the parents of the students, have demanded that Iqbal be terminated from the school.

1. Iqbal cut the national flag with scissors and tore it into pieces. The students went home and narrated this incident to their parents. When the villagers reached the school and questioned Iqbal, he said that the national flag had become old, so he tore it and made it into a ‘duster’. (Would Iqbal have ever used the national flag of Pakistan in this manner ? – Editor)

2. The villagers alleged that earlier when the students tried to worship Shri Saraswati Devi in the school, Iqbal stopped them. (It is always observed that no matter how much religious fanatics are educated, their radicalism does not diminish and they do not follow secularism either ! The so-called secularists will never talk about such an incident ! – Editor)
