Students of BHU enraged due to answering questions about beef in their exams

Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh)  –  Students of Banaras Hindu University were furious after they found a question about beef in their ‘Bachelor of Vocational Course’ examination. Questions like – ‘What is beef ? How is it classified and what is its process ?’, were asked. (Patriotic Hindus who love their Dharma feel –  Knowing fully well that cows are sacred to Hindus, questions on beef were directly asked in the exam, This is a deliberate insult to the religious sentiments of Hindus. Strict action should be taken against the culprits in this case. – Editor) After this incident the angry students wrote letters to the Chancellor and Vice-Chancellor, demanding the removal of the course coordinator and the concerned officials. The protesting students said that – ‘Such questions are against the vision of Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya, the founder of this Vidyapitha. Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya always worked for the protection of cows during his entire life. Against this backdrop, it is totally inappropriate to ask questions about beef at Banaras Hindu University’.

The angry students had warned that if action is not taken immediately then they will launch a severe agitation protesting against the matter.

Editorial viewpoint

Asking such a question in an examination that too in a university that started to protect Hindu religion and culture is preposterous !
