She attempted to run away to get married to an already-married man !
Kabul (Afghanistan) – Ever since the Taliban came to power in Afghanistan, strict restrictions have been imposed on women. Women are being deprived of education. Women are also being punished by the Taliban by stoning or by publicly flogging. One such woman committed suicide out of fear that the Taliban would punish her by stoning her to death. This incident was said to have taken place in the province of Bhor.

The woman had tried to run away to get married to married man. Talibani fighters then sentenced the woman to be publicly stoned, but before they could carry out the order the woman out of sheer humiliation committed suicide by hanging herself.
