Agitation by Hindu organisations in Hyderabad

Hyderabad (Telangana) – A massive agitation was held on 8th October at Dharne Chowk near Indira Park for the release of the devout Hindu MLA of Goshamahal Constituency T Raja Singh. Demands such as releasing T Raja Singh immediately, and giving him justice by withdrawing the Telangana Preventive Detention Act of 1970, were made at this time. They also gave a warning that if T Raja Singh was not released before Diwali then a march of 10 lakh persons will surround Hyderabad. More than 15 Hindu organisations like HJS, Hindu J.A.C., S.S.V.B., Dharma Sena, Rashtriya Shivaji Sena, Rashtriya Hindu Parishad, Shriram Yuva Sena had participated in the agitation.
