1. It is being said that the Administration urged Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt to visit the temple for Mahakaleshwar’s darshan, but due to opposition from activists, they did not get down from the car and just returned. (Why are those who hurt the religious sentiments of Hindus by eating beef called for darshan in the temple ? The Administration should answer this first ! – Editor) It is also being said that at that time, the Police charged at the protesting Hindus on the road and attempted to brush them aside.
2. The director of the film, Ayan Mukerjee, however, went to the temple and had darshan, temple priest Ashish Pujari said.
What did Ranbir Kapoor say ?
While promoting the movie ‘Rockstar’ in 2011, Ranbir Kapoor had said, ‘I like to eat beef. My family is from Peshawar, Pakistan. Hence the Peshawari food culture has also come here along with us. I eat mutton. I am a big fan of beef’. This video from the past is now going viral again. Ranbir is being criticised due to it.

It is commendable that Hindus have now awakened and are now forcing their religious sentiments to be taken seriously by protesting in such a lawful manner ! |
