At the time of partition, it should have been made clear that Muslims who want ‘Dar al-Islam’, cannot live in India : Dr Subramanian Swamy

(‘Dar al-Islam’ means a country where Muslim rule and Sharia law apply to all)

BJP leader Dr Subramanian Swamy

New Delhi – Even Hindus have made a mistake. At the time of partition in 1947, it should have been made clear that Muslims who want ‘Dar al-Islam’, cannot live in India. It is wrong to say that ‘Dar al-Islam’ will be there and Hindu Dharma will be there and Christian rules will be also there, said BJP leader Dr Subramanian Swamy in an interview.

  • Nupur Sharma is not a big issue

Dr Swamy said that we will not stop anyone, but do not denigrate our Deities. We will not denigrate your God. Violence or attacking someone is illegal. Some may like Nupur Sharma, some may not. This is not a big issue. Criticism is part of democracy, but death threats are not acceptable. If anyone attacks with a sword or commits violence, he will be dealt with severely. Taking revenge is not correct, we should not be vengeful.

40 thousand Hindu Temples were demolished

Muslim invaders demolished more than 40,000 Hindu Temples. We demand that Temples should be rebuilt, where there is no alternative.  Shriram was born in Ayodhya, so his temple will be built in Ayodhya. Similarly, Shrikrushna was born in Mathura, so his temple should be built in Mathura. Likewise, in Kashi Vishwanath; there is no choice in the case of Ayodhya, Kashi, and Mathura. These Temples cannot be shifted. They will remain where they were.
