
New Delhi – From 15th July, the Central Government announced that they will provide free of charge Corona preventive vaccine booster dose to all citizens in the age group of 18 to 59 years and this will be given for 75 days. Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur gave this information in the press conference.

So far, 96% of the eligible citizens have received the first dose, while 87% of the eligible citizens have received the second dose. However, less than 1% of 77 crore population in the age group of 18 to 59 years have taken the ‘booster dose’, said the officials in the Ministry of Health. An estimated 26% of the 16 crore citizens aged 60 and over citizens have taken the booster doses.
