Dhubri (Assam) – My ancestors were Hindus, but due to the atrocities of a small Hindu group they had to accept Islam. No one had pressurised us then, explained the President of ‘All India United Democratic Front’ and MP Badruddin Ajmal. He had given a call to Muslims 2 days back not to kill goats on the day of Bakri-Eid.

1. Ajmal said further that, the agenda of Hindu Rashtra of BJP and RSS is just a political drama. Thereby they want to get 5% Hindu votes. Hindu Rashtra will remain a dream.

2. With regard to Nupur Sharma Ajmal said that some religious fanatics are taking an irresponsible stand. It is foolish to threaten to behead. Such threats are against Islam. Muhammad Paigambar was stoned. If Allah had killed those who were stoning at that time then Islam would not have spread like this.  200 crore Muslims live in the world. Our ancestors were Hindus. They got converted due to appreciating some good things in Islam.
