The media will be answerable in Court for writing against Hindu Dharma ! – Advocate Nagesh Joshi, Secretary, Hindu Vidhidnya Parishad, Goa

The tenth all-India Hindu Rashtra Convention strongly condemns those implicating devout Hindu activists in false cases !

Ramnathi (Ponda)– It has become a practice these days to criticise Hindu Dharma and devout Hindu activists for getting quick name and fame. Some organisations take a stand against giving replies to their defamation happening through media, but such policy further emboldens the media. Sanatan Sanstha has, however, always been opposing such media through legal fights. Now, the media will be answerable in Court for writing against Hindu Dharma, stated advocate Nagesh Joshi, Secretary, Hindu Vidhidnya Parishad (HVP). He was speaking on the topic of ‘Refuting accusations against Sanatan’ during the ongoing tenth all-India Hindu Rashtra Convention held at Sri Vidyadhiraj Hall of Sri Ramnathi Mandir. Advocate Veerendra Ichalkaranjikar, national President of HVP also repudiated various accusations made against Sanatan. It was resolved by the participants to give a befitting legal reply to the undue charges leveled against devout Hindu activists. The participants raised various slogans on the occasion.

Advocate Nagesh Joshi said further, “We have filed cases against more than 50 media persons who have defamed Hindu Dharma, Deities and made false allegations against Sanatan Sanstha. We have even filed cases against big political leaders involved in denigrating Hindu Dharma and Sanatan Sanstha and we have been successful in our efforts. Few newspaper houses had to even render an apology for publishing misleading matters. We are fighting against those, who always make noise about the attack on Constitution, using the same lawful path conferred by the Constitution. A legal fight is a medium of creating awareness amongst people towards Dharma.”

Devout Hindu activists undergoing imprisonment due to the biased investigation will have to be done justice !- Advocate Virendra Ichalkaranjikar, national President, HVP

Devout Hindu activists have been implicated in many cases under false charges. The investigation is conducted in the wrong manner in every case. If you ask anyone in society whether he or she knew about Gauri Lankesh, nobody has heard her name nor about her being a thinker and her so-called fights at an ideological level because Gauri Lankesh has never done anything special for the common man. In fact, she was punished by the Court for writing articles in the wrong way.

Advocate Ichalkaranjikar said further,

1. Muslims were acquitted in the Malegaon bomb blast case, implicating Hindus. It was an effort to prove ‘saffron terrorism’.

2. The investigations in Dr Dabholkar’s murder case are not yet over, stated Sanatan seeker Vikram Bhave who was detained in jail for two years.

3. Even the national secretary of HVP and renowned advocate Sanjiv Punalekar was arrested and detained in jail for 42 days.

4. A Sanatan seeker, Samir Gaikwad was unnecessarily arrested in the murder case of Comrade Govind Pansare and was in jail for 22 months. Advocates from Kolhapur Court refused to fight his case, but 31 advocates came together from all over Maharashtra to take up his case. In 2016, police declared that Samir Gaikwad has not committed murder and accused other two Sanatan seekers viz. Sarang Akolkar and Vinay Pawar in this murder.

5. Dr. Virendrasinh Tawade was brought to Pune from Kolhapur by road and on reaching there, police asked photographers to take his photos which is totally illegal. It is deliberate defamation of a renowned practicing doctor. Such behavior of police is quite infuriating.

There have been many such cases in which Sanatan seekers and devout Hindu activists have been implicated and unnecessarily persecuted, but the media never published the truth; moreover, they published false news.

6. In the year 2018, Sachin Andure and Sharad Kalaskar were arrested in the murder case of Gauri Lankesh when they had absolutely no connection to this case.

An atmosphere of fear is being created in this country claiming that there were no violent repercussions after Gandhi’s murder, and the atmosphere has been spoilt after Dr. Dabholkar’s murder. The communists have killed more than 14000 innocent citizens since independence, but huge tension was created in the country after the murders of four communists. Nobody, however, talks about it; therefore, we will have to fight and go to the roots to get justice.
