Pakistan responsible for targeted killings of Hindus in Kashmir : Central Government

High-level meeting held by Union Home Minister Amit Shah

New Delhi – Intelligence agencies have said that Pakistan is responsible for the ongoing killings of Hindus in the Kashmir Valley. Central Intelligence agencies provided information regarding the killings of Hindus by terrorists in Kashmir at a high-level meeting held by Union Home Minister Amit Shah on 3rd June. Arvind Kumar, Director of the Intelligence Bureau, Manoj Sinha, Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir and Dilbagh Singh, Director-General of Police attended this meeting. The level of violence in Kashmir has increased, but it is not jihad. (Since 1990, only Hindus are being targeted, killed and forced to flee Kashmir. Hindus feel that if this is not jihad, then what is it ? Hindus feel that if the authorities are making such statements to appease the Muslims, then it is a betrayal of Hindus. – Editor)

The perpetrators are based across the border in Pakistan, said a senior Government official. (If this is known, why no action is being taken against Pakistan ? Do the Government agencies think that Pakistan should continue killing Hindus and we should remain inactive ? – Editor)

• The whole world knows it since 1990. There is nothing new about it. The Government should tell us what they are going to do about it and how they intend to protect Hindus ?
• Killing the jihadi terrorists to protect Hindus in Kashmir is not sufficient, but their creator Pakistan needs to be destroyed. The Government should show that courage now.
