RSS convenor murdered in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan

Curfew imposed after agitation by Hindu groups

Chittorgarh (Rajasthan) – RSS convenor Ratan Soni was murdered on 31st May in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan. After this incident, protests broke out in the city square by the Pro-Hindu groups. Due to the increasing tension in the city, the Police imposed a curfew in the area. The miscreants were on two-wheelers and escaped after attacking Ratan Soni with swords and iron rods. Injured Ratan Soni was taken to a local hospital immediately for treatment but was asked to be shifted to a hospital in Udaipur. However, he passed away during his journey to the hospital in Udaipur. Soni was associated with the Bajrang Dal and his father is a former Corporator.
