German footballer Mesut Ozil 

New Delhi – Mesut Ozil, a German footballer of Turkish descent, is facing criticism on social media for tweeting about the safety of Muslims in India. Earlier, Ozil had also tweeted about the situation of Muslims in China. He plays football for the Real Madrid Club.

2. Criticising Ozil’s tweet, many users tweeted some videos from Pakistan saying that it was all happening in Pakistan and that he has misunderstood. It is the Muslims in Pakistan who are persecuting Muslims.

Muslims in India are safer and happier in India than in any other Islamic country in the world, but they are deliberately portrayed as being ‘unsafe’. This incident is one them. The Indian Government should reprimand Ozil and his country Germany for this !
