New Delhi – An English newspaper ‘The Hindu’ has reported that a temple in Kerala hosted an Iftar feast for Muslims in the city. The temple is located at Vaniyannur near Tirur in Malappuram District.
Every year, Sree Maha Vishnu Temple in #Kerala’s Malappuram organises a community feast at the end of their annual #temple festival. This year, people from Muslim community couldn’t attend. So, the temple held an #Iftar feast for them.

Temple President Velayudhan and Treasurer Lakshmanan said that by organising this feast on the temple premises, a much-needed clear message of religious harmony has been given.
