Kerala temple organised Iftar feast

The temple President claims to have given a message of religious harmony

Editorial comments

  • History has proven that Hindu-Muslim unity is like a mirage. It is sheer ignorance of the temple President.
  • Who will tell the temple President that the religious harmony efforts cannot be made only by the Hindus. On Ram Navami, religious fanatics have attacked Hindu processions in at least eight States. Would the temple President tell us why these religious fanatics are not keeping religious harmony ?

New Delhi – An English newspaper ‘The Hindu’ has reported that a temple in Kerala hosted an Iftar feast for Muslims in the city. The temple is located at Vaniyannur near Tirur in Malappuram District.

Temple President Velayudhan and Treasurer Lakshmanan said that by organising this feast on the temple premises, a much-needed clear message of religious harmony has been given.
