The US should also keep in mind that no one has given the US the right to spoil the relations of any country with other countries. |
Washington (US) – In a justifying statement over the sensational remark made by the US Deputy National Security Adviser Daleep Singh during his visit to India, the White House said various countries have personal relations with Russia. It is a historical and geographical fact. We are not interfering in this relationship. Warning India, Daleep Singh had said, it is unlikely that Russia would come to India’s defence, should China breach the Line of Actual Control (LAC) again. He was referring to India’s purchase of fuel from Russia when global sanctions have been imposed on Russia.
The statement further said we are doing everything we can to ensure that the international community speaks out in unison. Voice must be raised against this unwarranted, unprovoked, pre-planned aggression. Violence must end. India and other countries must work to achieve this goal.
