Moscow (Russia) – Russia is capable of self-defence and everyone is aware of the same. When Russia feels its existence is in danger, only then nuclear weapons will be used in the ongoing war with Ukraine, said Russian President Vladimir Putin’s spokesperson Dmitry Peskov in an interview with CNN news channel. Peskov was asked whether he was sure of Putin not using nuclear weapons.

Russia has a huge stock of nuclear weapons. Earlier, Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had said that the third world war would be fought with nuclear weapons. On 28th February 2022, Putin had ordered his nuclear forces to be on high alert.
