Reciprocal action by the US after China suspended flights from the US

Washington (US) – China suspended some flights headed to the United States citing the coronavirus restrictions. The United States also cancelled 44 flights going from the US to China by four Chinese-owned airlines. These flights will be suspended from January 30th onwards.

Li Pengyu a Spokesman for the Chinese embassy in Washington said that China has the same policy for international Airlines and Chinese Airlines from other countries. It is fair, open, and transparent. In contrast, US policy is not justified. He also said that the US should not interfere with the regular travel services of Chinese companies.
