Joint Venture of ‘Shri Mallikarjun and Shri. Chetan Manju Desai Mahavidyalay’ and ‘Maharshi Adhyatma Vishwavidyalay’

In a first in Goa, an Online Certificate Course starts on ‘Indian values and Sanskriti’

Ramnathi (Goa) – Joint Venture of Shri Mallikarjun and Shri. Chetan Manju Desai Mahavidyalay of Dnyanprabodhini Mandal in Cancona and Maharshi Adhyatma Vishwavidyalay in Dhavli, Ponda has begun. This venture comprises Indian culture, Spirituality, moral values and Nation-building for students and an online Certificate Course on these topics has been commenced. In this course, 30 one-hour classes and 2 projects will be given to students. The course has just begun and the classes will be held from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. through ‘Google meet’. The classes will be completed in June 2022. Students will be given certificates at the end of the course.

  1. Shri Mallikarjun and Shri. Chetan Manju Desai Mahavidyalay’s Prof. Keval Naik is the coordinator of the course. Innovative course teaching Indian Values and culture was the first of its kind in the State of Goa, and it was the golden opportunity for students. It would be beneficial for the holistic development of students.
  2. Both the institutions signed the ‘Agreement of cooperation’. On behalf of Shri Mallikarjun and Shri. Chetan Manju Desai Mahavidyalay, Principal Dr Manoj S. Kamat, Mr Ramdas Sawant, Mr Vividh Pavaskar and Prof. Keval Naik and on behalf of Maharshi Adhyatma Vishwavidyalay Mr Chetan Rajhans, Prof. Mahaveer Shrishrimal, Mr Satyavijay Naik and Mr Sandeep Shinde were present on this occasion to witness the event.
  3. Through this course, value education will be encouraged in students. They are thinking of organising Conferences and Seminars on various topics, exchanges between students and professors so also developing reading and reference material.

Introduction of Sanatan (That which is eternal) values and methods. This syllabus will comprise many topics such as, ‘Spiritual practice, Spirituality and abiding by culture’, Uniqueness of Indian culture, Eradication of personality defects and personality development, etc.
