New York-based e-com firm ‘Etsy’ denigrates Goddess Mahakali

  • Anti-Hindu hatred by American establishment ‘Etsy’
  • Outraged Hindus express anger, demand an apology

Editorial comment

Anybody insults Hindu Dharma just because Hindus are not united. Therefore, Hindus should unite now and create their image in such a way that no one will dare to insult Hindu Dharma.

Nevada (US) – Etsy, the Brooklyn (New York) based online retailer, has insulted the religious sentiments of Hindus by printing a picture of Goddess Mahakali on a T-shirt advertising food. Outraged devout Hindus in the US have demanded that the ‘Etsy’ establishment should immediately withdraw the T-shirts and issue a public apology for hurting the religious sentiments of Hindus. They said, ‘It is inappropriate to use Hindu Deities for commercial interests’. (Congratulations to the Hindus in the US who have raised their voice against Etsy for denigrating Hindu Deities.
