Raisen (Madhya Pradesh) – Priyank Kanoongo, Chairperson of the National Commission for the Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR), has revealed the conversion racket going on at the Christian Missionary Girls Hostel. When Kanoongo paid a surprise visit to the hostel, he saw tribal Hindu girls at the hostel. Kanoongo also noticed that these young girls were attracted to Christianity by giving them Christian religious books.

Action will be taken against those who convert Hindus, he said. Kanoongo further said that these girls were being trained to convert people from other religions to Christianity by imparting special training. These girls are studying in Government schools. How they reached here needs to be investigated and we are doing it.
