New Delhi – National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted raided 16 places in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) and 2 places in Bhatkal, Karnataka. ISIS-Voice of Hind newspaper’s Jawahar Damudi has been arrested in the case. The raids were carried out with the assistance of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Jammu and Kashmir Police.

NIA said that ISIS terrorists operating from various conflict zones along with ISIS cadres in India have created a network. Here ISIS-related propaganda material is disseminated for recruiting members to the fold of ISIS. Abu Hazir Al Badri is a key operative of the ISIS cyber unit. He is involved in the translation of Voice of Hind to South Indian languages and its further dissemination.
