Pakistan’s Gwadar City blast kills 8 Chinese engineers

Balochistan Liberation Army claimed to have carried out the attack

It should not repeat in future – China warns Pakistan

Editorial comments

  • The CPEC project executed by China in Pakistan’s Balochistan province has always been opposed by the Baloch people. Pakistani forces constantly torture the Baloch people. The Baloch people are taking revenge for all it. Don’t be surprised if the Balochistan Liberation Army, which has been carrying out armed attacks to demand an independent Balochistan, launches more such attacks in the future.
  • China supports Pakistan’s terrorism against India at the United Nations, but the Chinese citizens are targeted by an armed group in Pakistan. It will be better if China realises it.

New Delhi – A bomb blast near the Pakistani city of Gwadar in Pakistan’s Balochistan province has killed 8 Chinese engineers. The Balochistan Liberation Army has claimed responsibility for the attack. This is the second such attack on Chinese engineers. In an earlier attack, 9 Chinese engineers were killed at Dasu in Pakistan’s Kohistan District.

After the attack, China had sent an investigation team to Pakistan. Even now, China is outraged by the attack and has called for a proper investigation of the attack and legal action against the culprits. China has warned that such incidents should not repeat in the future. The Chinese embassy in Islamabad said to step up security measures to protect Chinese citizens.
