  • This kind of hocus-pocus action by Pakistan is an eye-wash. If such culprits are punished severely, then we can say, ‘Action was taken’.

Islamabad (Pakistan) – Religious fanatics had attacked and damaged Shri Ganesh Temple at Bhong, in the Punjab Province in Pakistan. Fifty individuals along with the main culprit have been arrested in this case and crime has been registered against 150.

Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar said that it was a very shameful incident, and they would make sure that no such incident happens (in the future). He also told that the restoration work of the temple was underway in full swing. (Who will believe such assurances given by Pakistani politicians ? – Editor)
Dr Shahbaz Gill, Special Advisorto Imran Khan tweeted that the incident was sad and unfortunate. The Prime Minister’s office had taken note of it and an order had been passed to take strict action against the guilty. The Constitution of Pakistan gave freedom of worship to the minorities and provided security. (Hindus will not be protected by such talk; hence, it is essential to take the concrete step for protection. – Editor)
