The Afghanistan Government has warned the Indian Government that Pakistan-based terror groups Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed are shifting base in Afghanistan. The Taliban has taken control of 85% of the Afghanistan territory hence, the terrorist groups in Pakistan are now seeking refuge there.
- Afghanistan said Pakistan has been trying to shift all these international terror groups out of their country and planning to move them to Afghanistan. They think they can get out of the F.A.T.F’s (The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) is the terrorist financing watchdog that blacklists such countries) grey list. (No matter how much Pakistan tries, India must expose Pakistan and try to put them back into the grey list – Editor)
- A few weeks ago, Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani disclosed that more than 10,000 jihadi terrorists have entered the country from Pakistan in the last month. The Taliban has good relations with Lashkar-e-Taiba, Al-Qaeda and Jaish-e-Mohammed.
- He further said that the Taliban wants Afghanistan to become a terrorist’s heaven. But we will not allow that to happen.
- Pakistani identity cards have been found among the terrorists killed in Afghanistan. Taliban militants are also being treated at a hospital in Pakistan.
