Srinagar – 11 Government employees working for terrorist groups were recently sacked. It included two sons of Syed Salahuddin, Chief of Jihadi terrorist group Hizbul Mujahideen. The sacked employees were working in Jammu and Kashmir Police, Education, Agriculture, Energy, and Health Departments. These employees were sacked under Article 311 of the Indian Constitution. These employees can appeal in the High Court.

- In an investigation conducted by National Investigation Agency (NIA), it was found that Salahuddin’s two sons Syed Ahmad Shakeel and Shahid Yusuf were providing funding for terrorism. According to the authorities, these two were organising fundraising, receiving funds, and providing funds through Hawala to Hizbul Mujahideen for terrorism.
- One of the sacked employees who worked at the Industrial Training Institute at Kupwara was involved with the Jihadi terrorist group Lashkar-e-Taiba. He was providing information about the Security forces to the terrorists and also provided shelter to the terrorists.
- Additionally, 2 teachers from Anantnag were also found to be involved in anti-national activities.
