Ratnagiri (Maharashtra) – Sanatan’s 35th Saint and Ayurveda expert H.H. Vinay Bhave (Age 69) renounced His body at 10 p.m. on 25th June at Ratnagiri (Maharashtra). He was a well-known Vaidya (Ayurvedic doctor) originally from Varsai, District Raigad. His body was cremated on the morning of 26th June.
He is survived by his wife Mrs. Vidya Bhave, son Mr. Vikram Bhave, daughter-in-law Mrs. Vaidehi Vikram Bhave and granddaughter Indrashri Vikram Bhave (who is at the spiritual level of 61%). H.H. Vinay Bhave’s family has been performing spiritual practice under the guidance of Sanatan Sanstha.
Introduction to Vaidya H.H. Vinay Bhave
Vaidya H.H. Vinay Neelkanth Bhave was a native of Varsai village in Pen Taluka of Raigad District. He was the fifth in the Vaidya tradition of His family. He set up his own factory to produce Ayurvedic medicines under the name of ‘Shri Anantanand Dispensary’ and served Ayurveda for many years by producing scientific and effective medicines. He was popularly known as ‘Varsaikar Vaidya Bhave’ among the Vaidyas in Maharashtra. His experience in treating patients as well as in pharmaceutical industry was invaluable. He was well-known as being studious, helpful in all ways, kind-hearted and with a sacrificing attitude. He was honoured with the ‘Raigad Bhushan’ Award by the Raigad Zilla Parishad in 2013.
For the past few years, he had been assisting Maharshi Adhyatma Vishwavidyalay (MAV) in research related to Ayurveda. H.H. Vinay Bhave also stayed at Sanatan Ashram at Devad and performed seva of Paratpar Guru Pande Maharaj. His demise has caused a great loss to the field of Ayurveda.
