Mumbai – Hyder Ali Khan, the stepbrother of actor Amir Khan, has been accused of serious physical abuse by his former wife and actress Eva Grover. She alleged that he used to assault her during sexual intercourse, leaving wounds and bruises all over her body. After knowing him for only 18 days, she eloped and married him despite her mother’s opposition after he proposed to her. Her mother severed all ties with her because of the interfaith marriage.

Khan was suffering from schizophrenia, a mental illness. Eva Grover also alleged that he pressured her to have sexual relations with film producers and directors. She divorced him after five years of marriage. She also said that she had not seen her daughter for 10 years.
