Scams concerning 300 Madarasas in Azamgarh District of Uttar Pradesh

Crores of rupees of State Government grant looted !

  • The Central and State Governments should investigate if more such scams are taking place in the country. Why did the administration not verify facts before giving the grant Or are the administrative officials also involved in the scam ?
  • Those who provided false information to obtain the grant should be given life-imprisonment !
  • It is doubtful that secularists will speak about such incidents ?

Azamgarh (Uttar Pradesh) – Out of 683 madarasas of Azamgarh District, about 300 madarasas are fake. It is being alleged that false information regarding the appointment of teachers and staff was given. Out of these, 100 madarasas are receiving grant from the Government. In the physical verification conducted by the Government, it was found that some of the madarasas do not exist at all, they exist only on paper. In this manner, Crores of rupees are being looted from the Government.

In the year 2017, the Government started online collection of information about all the madarasas in the State. All the madarasas of the District had submitted information online. While investigating the information, the scam came to light. A special investigation team will investigate this scam.
