Ambulance driver demands Rs. 35,000

Kota (Rajasthan) – An ambulance driver demanded Rs. 35,000 from a man to carry his daughter’s corpse home. Therefore, the helpless man had to bring the corpse tied to the car seat belt. The video of this incident is viral on social media.

Uncle of the dead woman told the media that, his 34-year-old niece died of Covid-19. Starting from ward boy, every one demanded money from us. The ward boy demanded Rs. 1,000 just to carry the corpse on the stretcher up to ambulance. After the corpse was brought to the ambulance, various ambulance drivers demanded Rs. 18,000 to 35,000 to carry the corpse home. Hence, father had to bring home the corpse tied to the car seat. The dead woman is married and has a son.
