Government had made the online registration compulsory earlier to avoid individuals crowding at the Vaccination Centre but they were facing many difficulties. Villagers do not have smartphones for booking the slot; in many States, despite booking the slot they were unable to reach the Vaccination Centre. In such a situation, the vaccine would have been wasted; hence now that vaccine will be given to the individuals coming to the Vaccination Centre without registration.
