File a case and imprison those who beat innocent people without understanding the actual situation !

Surajpur (Chattisgarh) – Ranvir Sharma, Collector of Surajpur District has been transfered for beating a young man and throwing the youth’s phone on the road. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel issued an order to undertake immediate action against Sharma after a video about the incident became viral on social media.

CM Baghel tweeted, ’The matter of misbehaviour with a young man by Surajpur Collector Ranbir Sharma has come to my notice through social media. It is very sad and condemnable. No such act will be tolerated in Chhattisgarh. Instructions have been given to transfer Collector Ranvir Sharma with immediate effect. No official holding Government post can behave like this. It is not acceptable. I am upset with this incident. I apologise to the young man and his family’.
