Police official caught while attempting to rape a widow

Such Police officials, who act as predators instead of saviours, must be imprisoned for life !

Bathinda (Punjab) – Assistant sub-Inspector (ASI) Gurvinder Singh was caught by the villagers and handed over to the Police, while he attempted to rape a widow. Gurvinder has been dismissed from service. According to the reports, he was arrested and kept in custody where he attempted suicide.

The woman in her complaint to the Police said that ASI Gurvinder Singh had registered a false case against her 20-year-old son under NDPS Act. He then allegedly demanded Rs 2 Lakh to spare her son. At one point, he raided the victim’s house and even snatched Rs 60,000 from her. The money was meant for the treatment of victim’s son. The woman gathered Rs 1 Lakh and gave it to Gurvinder; yet he did not release her son and instead, demanded physical relationship with her. The woman informed villagers about this. The villagers then laid a trap and caught Gurvinder when he visited the victim.
