The country’s sole focus should be on the raging pandemic. Cricket is irrelevant”. At present the matches are currently taking place in Ahmedabad and Delhi afterwardsin Mumbai and Chennai. The matches have started on 9th April and are scheduled till 30th May. BCCI President Sourav Ganguly had however declared a few days that the IPL matches will continue as per the schedule.

Morgan added, “Nearly three lakh new cases are being recorded every day in India with the death tolls starting to increase again in the coronavirus’ second wave. India’s sole focus should be on how to stave off the COVID-19 virus for the time being.
