Symbols such as a conch, trident, lotus are considered to be auspicious in the Hindu Dharma. There is a ‘Samudrik Shastra’ (The study of faces, auras, body marks, auspicious symbols on the body and whole-body analysis) in Hindu Dharma which describes the auspicious symbols on the body of an individual and provides information on the nature and future of the individual as per these symbols. Even in the present scientific age, there is evidence that events are taking place as per this science.
When an individual starts performing spiritual practice, he starts progressing spiritually. As a result of the Divine change, auspicious symbols appear on the individual’s body.
That a lotus-shaped symbol has formed on Sanatan’s Shrisatshakti (Mrs.) Binda Singbal’s forehead was realised from a photo clicked while She was doing Shodashopachar-puja (Ritualistic worship involving sixteen specific substances) of the Goddess. When She naturally joins Her hands in front of the Deities, the Namaskar mudra looks like a blooming lotus bud. The following information was given by Maharshi through the Nadipatti and Divine Knowledge received from God.
1. Realising the appearance of a lotus shape on the forehead of Shrisatshakti (Mrs.) Binda Singbal while worshipped Shri Lalita Tripursundardevi
As instructed by Mayan Maharshi through the medium of a Jiva-Nadipatti on the 77th birthday of Paratpar Guru (Dr) Athavale, the Shodashopachar- puja of Shri Lalita Tripursundardevi was done in Sanatan’s Ramnathi Ashram on 8.5.2019. This puja was performed by Shrisatshakti (Mrs.) Binda Singbal and Shrichitshakti (Mrs.) Anjali Gadgil. The appearance of a lotus shape on Shrisatshakti (Mrs.) Binda Singbal’s forehead was realised from Her photo while the Goddess was being invoked during the puja.
2. Samashti mission (Mission to spread Spirituality) undertaken by the lotus shape
2A. Spreading Chaitanya (Divine consciousness) on the Earth and in the atmosphere and disintegrating the blockages and locations created by powerful negative energies in the body : The appearance of the lotus shape on the forehead of Shrisatshakti (Mrs.) Binda Singbal is related to the Tej predominant waves as well as Ichha-shakti (Energy of will) and Kriya-shakti (Energy of action). Tej predominant waves perform the task of spreading Chaitanya on the Earth and the atmosphere at the level of marak (Destroyer)-tarak (Saviour) Principle. They also function at the level of light. This leads to the disintegration of blockages and locations created by powerful negative energies.
2B. Helping a jiva (Embodied soul) get spiritual experiences : The task of emitting Chaitanya in the atmosphere and maintaining it for a long time is done by the lotus on the forehead. This Chaitanya allows the jiva to get spiritual experiences and increase his enthusiasm.
3. The science behind Shrisatshakti (Mrs.) Binda Singbal’s hands joined in a Namaskar mudra appearing like a blooming lotus bud
3A. As a result of the Vayu (Absolute Air) and Tej (Absolute Fire) Principles becoming active when performing Triveni Namaskar by surrendering the mind, intellect and subconscious mind, the mudra appearing like a lotus bud : ‘Triveni Namaskar’ is offered unto the Holy the feet of God by a jiva by surrendering its mind, intellect and subconscious mind. Body consciousness is related to the Pruthvitattva (Absolute Earth Principle). Since body consciousness is active in ordinary people, the Pruthvitattva is more active in them. Ordinary people cannot do effective Triveni Namaskar. In this Namaskar, Shrisatshakti (Mrs.) Binda Singbal surrenders Her mind, intellect and subconscious mind; Her body consciousness is active nominally. As a result, in this Namaskar, Her body consciousness (meaning the Pruthvitattva) reduces and the Apa (Absolute Water), Tej and Vayu Principles increase. The Vayutattva leads to movement, whereas this movement takes form because of the Tejtattva. Since Shrisatshakti (Mrs.) Binda Singbal subtly goes in the state of surrendering Her mind, intellect and subconscious mind before the Namaskar, the shape of the fingers joined for Namaskar becomes like a lotus bud due to the Vayutattva and Tejtattva.
3B. Due to the Mahalakshmi Principle in Shrisatshakti (Mrs.) Binda Singbal, the shape of the hands joined together for Namaskar appears like a lotus bud : Saints who perform samashti sadhana (Spiritual practice for the propagation of Spirituality) have a balance of the Deity Principles in them, but one Principle in them becomes more awakened as per the need of the mission. In Shrisatshakti (Mrs.) Binda Singbal, the Mahalakshmi Devi Principle (meaning Kriya-shakti) is 5% more active than the Principles of other Deities. The lotus is a symbol of the Mahalakshmi Principle and ‘Namaskar’ is associated with Kriya-shakti. So when Shrisatshakti (Mrs.) Binda Singbal joins the hands for Namaskar, Her hands take the shape of a lotus bud.
3C. The hands joined by Shrisatshakti (Mrs.) Binda Singbal to give seekers Anand (Bliss) for spiritual practice and Shakti (Divine Energy) for the mission taking the shape of a lotus bud which symbolises Shakti, Anand and the nirgun (non-materialised) Principle : According to the Path of Yoga, the awakened Kundalini (Spiritual energy in the subtle body) energy looks like a blooming lotus. According to the science of vibrations, vibrations of Anand are emitted by the lotus shape, and when the hands are joined in the shape of a lotus, the void (meaning the nirgun Principle) becomes more active in it. In short, the lotus bud is a symbol of the Shakti, Anand and the nirgun Principle. ‘Anand + Shakti = Chaitanya’ is continuously emitting from Shrisatshakti (Mrs.) Binda Singbal to provide the seekers Anand for spiritual practice and Shakti for the mission. Since the same action manifests from the Namaskar She does unto God, Her joined hands take the shape of a lotus.
3D. As a result of the activity of the Apa, Tej and Vayu Principles in the ‘Triveni Namaskar’ done by Shrisatshakti (Mrs.) Binda Singbal, society benefits : The Apa, Tej and Vayu Principles are active in the ‘Triveni Namaskar’ done by Shrisatshakti (Mrs.) Binda Singbal. As a result of the active Vayutattva, She can imbibe 10% more Chaitanya from the Tapalok (Sixth of the seven subtle higher regions of the Universe). Likewise, due to the active Tej and Apa Principles, the Chaitanya emitting from Her Namaskar mudra destroys the distressing covering created by negative energies around the seekers and helps them in the awakening of bhav (Spiritual emotion).
In this way, the Triveni Namaskar performed by Her reduces the distress of society and it benefits.
3E. Triveni Namaskar is being performed due to Shrisatshakti (Mrs.) Binda Singbal’s vyashti and samashti sadhana : The spiritual level of Shrisatshakti (Mrs.) Binda Singbal is very high and She has a beautiful confluence of vyashti and samashti sadhana. Her surrender predominant attitude due to Her vyashti sadhana, while due to Her samashti sadhana, She has developed a tendency to perform karma (Action which gives rise to destiny) as per Dharmashastra (Spiritual science pertaining to Hindu Dharma) and with perfection. As a result, the Namaskar offered to God by Her naturally shows the combined form of sharanagat-bhav (Attitude of surrender to God or Guru), bhav-enriched prayer and prayer with the appropriate mudra. Therefore, this Namaskar is called ‘Triveni Namaskar’.

4. Unique characteristic of Shrisatshakti (Mrs.) Binda Singbal as narrated by Saptarshi and its analysis as per the science of Spirituality
4A. Saptarshi praising Shrisatshakti (Mrs.) Binda Singbal through the Nadipatti : Addressing Shrisatshakti (Mrs.) Binda Singbal, Saptarshi says – O’ Uttaraputri ! You are a fraction of Shri Mahalakshmi. So You have nothing less. As H.H. Gurudev (Paratpar Guru [Dr.] Athavale) says, we have to perform spiritual practice till our last breath. For the coming times, You are an ideal for everyone in spiritual practice ! (Reference : Saptarshi Jivanadipatti Reading No. 80, Ramnathi Ashram, Ponda, Goa. [30.5.2016])
4B. Obtaining proof of Saptarshi’s words : Each Saint possesses a specific Deity Principle in higher proportion. Shri Mahalakshmi Principle is higher in Shrisatshakti (Mrs.) Binda Singbal. Therefore, Saptarshi has called Her ‘a fraction of Shri Mahalakshmi’. The lotus symbolises the Lakshmi Principle. As a result of the awakening of the Deity Principle in Shrisatshakti (Mrs.) Binda Singbal while worshiping the Goddess, the appearance of a lotus shape on Her forehead and the Namaskar mudra of Her hands looking like a blooming lotus bud proves how appropriate Saptarshi’s words are.
5. Conclusion
Spirituality is the science of spiritual experiences. God guides in spiritual practice by imparting spiritual experiences. As the individual’s sacrifice increases while performing spiritual practice, he starts getting higher level spiritual experiences.
When an individual’s sacrifice increases, every action he performs gets done as per God’s wish rather than his own wish or the other’s wish. At such a time, the jiva becomes Shri Narayan (An image of God) instead of being merely a man (An ordinary embodied soul). Shrisatshakti (Mrs.) Binda Singbal is the perfect example of this. For Guruseva, She has sacrificed everything including Her body, mind, intellect, wealth and ego; therefore, Divine actions necessary for society spontaneously take place through Her. Consequently, even when doing a simple Namaskar, the fingers join like the shape of a lotus. God is showing the importance of sacrifice and surrender to society through the science of joining hands (of Shrisatshakti [Mrs.] Binda Singbal) like a lotus bud. Through the medium of this Divine realisation, God has given to society the proof of Shrisatshakti (Mrs.) Binda Singbal’s functioning through Her mere presence to performing the Divine mission as a result of sacrificing everything, thus the divinity and uniqueness in Her.
I offer gratitude at Her Lotus feet for this ! I pray at the Holy feet of God – May all seekers make progressively more efforts to sacrifice everything like Sadguru (Mrs.) Binda Singbal.
