Srinagar – An investigation conducted by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has revealed that Jammu & Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party leader Waheed Ur Rehman Para paid Rs. 10 lakh to Hizbul Mujahideen, a terrorist outfit, in order to ensure its support ahead of the 2019 Loksabha elections. Para was arrested in November. The information about Para’s links with this outfit was obtained when suspended DySP Davinder Singh’s links with the Hizbul were being examined.
